What can you learn from this test?
What can you learn from this test?
Female hormones are important for a healthy reproductive system, mood, fertility, and energy. The main female hormone, oestradiol, comes from the ovaries.
Other key hormones include:
- FSH: Helps with egg development.
- LH: Triggers ovulation.
- Progesterone: Prepares the uterus for pregnancy.
- Testosterone: Used to make oestrogen.
Hormone levels change during the menstrual cycle and with age:
- Perimenopause: Hormones fluctuate, with less oestrogen and more FSH and LH.
- Menopause: Marks the end of reproductive years, with lower oestrogen and progesterone.
These changes can affect reproductive health, mood, and energy. Consult a healthcare provider for guidance during different life stages.

What are we testing?
Hormones
Why test it?
Female hormones are important for a healthy reproductive system, mood, fertility, and energy. The main female hormone, oestradiol, comes from the ovaries. These changes can affect reproductive health, mood, and energy.
A male hormone test checks various hormones and proteins to assess men's reproductive health and overall hormonal balance. It can identify causes of symptoms like low sex drive and fatigue.
What it affects
Energy, Mood, Weight, Sleep, Fitness, Long-term health
Testosterone
Why test it?
Testosterone is a sex hormone (androgen) found in both males and females. It contributes to muscle and bone strength, good energy levels, good sex drive and fertility.
While both females and males produce testosterone, males produce it in significantly higher quantities. Testosterone levels naturally decrease with age, but factors like liver disease and weight can also lead to lower levels.
Low testosterone in males can result in fatigue, reduced sex drive, weight gain, depression, and low self-esteem. In females, low testosterone can cause these symptoms and irregular periods.
What it affects
Energy, Mood, Weight, Sleep, Fitness, Long-term Health
