Designed specifically to assess and evaluate the hormonal and metabolic imbalances associated with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

What can you learn from this test?

This test helps determine if symptoms such as irregular periods, acne, fertility issues, or excess body hair (hirsutism) might be linked to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

It examines hormonal imbalances, particularly elevated testosterone levels. If your testosterone levels are high and you exhibit irregular periods or have received an ultrasound confirming polycystic ovaries, a PCOS diagnosis may be made.

PCOS can also raise the risk of diabetes, high cholesterol, and thyroid problems. This blood test helps assess these risks associated with PCOS.

What are we testing?

1

Thyroid

Why test it?

Your thyroid is a small gland in your neck. It produces hormones that help control your metabolism and how your body consumes its energy.

An underactive thyroid doesn’t make enough of your thyroid hormones - this is called hypothyroidism. If you make too much of the thyroid hormone it is called an overactive thyroid or hyperthyroidism.

Symptoms can range from tiredness, weight gain or loss, to mood problems.

What it affects

Energy, Weight , Mood, Long term health

2

Diabetes (Blood Sugar)

Why test it?

The HbA1c test reveals your average blood sugar levels over the past few months. Unlike a standard blood sugar test, this test isn't influenced by short-term changes, like a recent sugary snack.

A good result indicates effective blood sugar control, even if you've occasionally had high blood sugar levels.

If your result is high, it may suggest you have pre-diabetes or diabetes.

What it affects

Energy, Weight, Long-term health, Sleep

3

Hormone

Why test it?

Female hormones are important for a healthy reproductive system, mood, fertility, and energy. The main female hormone, oestradiol, comes from the ovaries. These changes can affect reproductive health, mood, and energy.

A male hormone test checks various hormones and proteins to assess men's reproductive health and overall hormonal balance. It can identify causes of symptoms like low sex drive and fatigue.
